The deep rich reddish brown of this attractive wood lamp has to be seen (and touched!) to be truely admired.

It has been crafted from a piece of reclaimed jarrah from the Eastbourne wharf in Wellington Harbour - its full quality and colour not revealed until the first cut was made.

JB then lovingly cleaned and polished the wood with natural beeswax, highlighting the beautiful natural grain. The time-washed erosion grooves, tar marks and an original nail have been retained to create a unique table lamp with its origins dating back more than 100 years.

Paired with a replica Edison bulb the lamp provides warm ambient light and a touch of history to any room. You now have an opportunity to continue its journey and add something very special to your home.

Each lamp comes with its own written history.

The dimensions of the lamp base are:

  • Height (including bulb) 37 cm; width 10 cm, length 20 cm. 
  • Weight: 3.5 kg

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison light bulb, which comes with your lamp, has a life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are widely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. It has a long lead and an in-line switch.

We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your unique Edison table lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

Delivery

We have a $7 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington and Greytown, Wairarapa.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
