Introduce a touch of New Zealand's heritage and rustic charm to your living space with this unique wood table lamp, made from reclaimed wharf timber.

The wood began its journey as a large Jarrah tree in Australia. It was cut and transported to New Zealand in the 19th Century and used to construct Eastbourne Wharf in Wellington Harbour.

JB rescued it when the wharf was renovated and lovingly cherished the wood to create a beautiful lamp.  Its polished finish, achieved with natural beeswax, highlights the wood's gorgeous grain and natural erosion marks.

Paired with a replica Edison bulb it provides warm ambient light and a touch of history to any room.

Now you have the chance to be part of its story.

The dimensions of the lamp base are:

  • Height (including bulb) 24 cm; width 20 cm, length 19 cm.
  • Weight: 2 kg

Each lamp comes with its own written history.

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison light bulb, which comes with your lamp, has a life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are widely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. It has a long lead and an in-line switch.

We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your unique Edison table lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.
