The Maker's Plane Lamp | #145
Vintage Wood Plane Lamp with a Story
Every mark on this beech wood plane tells a story of decades spent at the workbench.
Once a staple tool of the 19th-century artisan, this Marples & Sons plane has been rescued and reimagined.
Lovingly upcycled by JB, this lamp represents the pinnacle of responsible design—turning "forgotten" into "feature."
Each piece arrives with its own written history, serving as both a source of ambient light and a captivating conversation starter.
With this heritage lamp, the Marples brand is incorporated into the steel and is still visible on the cutting blade. The famous ‘Triple Shamrock’ trade mark visible on this plane was used in combination with the word ‘HIBERNIA ’ from 1875.
Own a piece of the journey and bring the heritage of one of England's finest toolmakers into your home.
