A century-old carpenter’s plane, reimagined as light.

There is a quiet soul in tools that have spent decades at a workbench.

This mid-twentieth-century plane, crafted by the S.B. Tool Company in the heart of Sheffield, England, is a testament to the era before powered tools.

Carved from solid, honest Beech and fitted with legendary Sheffield steel, it still bears the original maker's marks—ghostly imprints on the toe and blade that tell of a lifetime of honest labor.

Now reimagined, it carries the warmth of the past into the light of the modern home.
