Strawberry Thief, Mini, Teal | Morris & Co | Fabric lamp shade

Order a hand crafted lampshade, made from the iconic Strawberry Thief fabric, to bring a timeless flair to any room.

There are two styles to choose from: 9 sizes of tapered shades and 12 sizes of straight sided or drum-style shades. They are all numbered for ease of ordering. For example 'Tapered 15'

This is the 'mini' version of the strawberry thief design and can be used successfully on a range of lightshade sizes. However please note that the pattern is best suited to straight sided, drum-style shades as the birds will 'bend' and appear slightly tipsy when used on a tapered shape frame.

Also, please be aware that because of the standard width and horizontal design of this fabric it is unsuitable for lampshades that have a diametre larger than 35.5 cm (unless you would like 2 seams. I put the 2nd seam directly opposite the standard seam and while it looks like a good match when the light is off, the seams do throw out a shadow when lit.)

To order a lampshade in this fabric:

In the 1st drop down menu select the style and shape of lampshade - all dimensions are illustrated in the photos.

Ceiling lights are best chosen from the straight sided options and most of the tapered shades are only suitable for table or floor stands and are not available for ceiling pendants.

In the 2nd drop down menu select whether your lampshade is for a table lamp / floor stand, or to be hung from the ceiling. A guide can be found in the photos.

In the 3rd drop down menu select the ring size of the shade frame.

The options are either bayonet bulb fitting or screw bulb fitting. (See photo). Have a look at your lamp base or ceiling fitting and check if it takes a bayonet or screw fit bulb. This will guide your decision.

If in doubt, select bayonet bulb fitting as this will come with a standard flexible adaptor which can be flipped out to make the bulb holder larger which will then fit a screw bulb.   More information.
