Spear Leaf Spice

Spear-like ochre leaves march in neat columns across blocks of brick red and navy, printed on a softly textured cream ground. Bold, rhythmic and unmistakably mid-century, this hand block style print makes a confident statement.

Some fabrics whisper. This lampshade NZ prefers to start the conversation. Try it in a reading corner, hallway or dining room where its warm reds and deep blues can set the palette, then echo one of the colours in a cushion or throw to pull the look together.

Every shade is made to order in the size you choose. The leafy columns run from top to bottom, so tell me in the second drop down menu whether yours is for a table lamp, floor stand or ceiling pendant, and I'll place the print so it sits just right.

There are 9 tapered sizes and more than 12 drum-style sizes to choose from. Refer to the size charts in the photos to determine the perfect dimensions for your lamp shade.

All sizes are numbered for easy selection; for instance, 'Straight sided 15'. Use the drop down menus to make your choice.

To order a lamp shade in this fabric:

In the 1st drop down menu select the style and shape of lampshade - all dimensions are illustrated in the photos.

Ceiling lights are best chosen from the straight sided options and most of the tapered shades are only suitable for table or floor stands and are not available for ceiling pendants.

In the 2nd drop down menu select whether your lampshade is for a table lamp / floor stand, or to be hung from the ceiling. A guide can be found in the photos.

In the 3rd drop down menu select the ring size of the shade frame.

The options are either bayonet bulb fitting or screw bulb fitting. (See photo). Have a look at your lamp base or ceiling fitting and check if it takes a bayonet or screw fit bulb. This will guide your decision.

If in doubt, select bayonet bulb fitting as this will come with a standard flexible adaptor which can be flipped out to make the bulb holder larger which will then fit a screw bulb. More information.
