A new chapter for Wellington wharf timber

JB’s heritage lamps celebrate timber reclaimed from industrial buildings, warehouses and Wellington’s old wharves. This lamp uses Australian Jarrah sourced from Eastbourne wharf restoration in Wellington Harbour. Jarrah was widely used in New Zealand’s wharves, bridges and other commercial structures during the late nineteenth century.

Each lamp comes with its own written history, keeping the story of the reclaimed material with the finished piece.

Restored without losing its character

The Jarrah has been cleaned, sanded and hand-finished with natural beeswax. Existing surface marks and construction details have been retained where present, while the beautiful grain is brought into focus. The result celebrates the timber’s past rather than hiding it.

Delivery and collection

Delivery within the Wellington area is a flat fee of $11.50. Free click and collect is available from Plimmerton, Wellington or Greytown, Wairarapa. Delivery charges outside Wellington are calculated at checkout.

For deliveries to Australia, timber import requirements may apply and are the purchaser’s responsibility.
