Yes, I finally did it — I’ve gone plain.

For years I’ve been loyal to bold florals and heritage prints (and I still adore them), but after so many lovely customers asked for something simple, I’ve created a collection of handcrafted plain linen lampshades — and they’re quietly stunning.

Each shade is made by hand especially for you using beautiful linen or a linen cotton blend fabric that feels as good as it looks. The range includes twelve solid colours spanning soft neutrals through to rich, earthy tones — perfect for spaces or lamp bases that call for calm sophistication.

Choose from 21 different sizes and styles — tapered, drum, or barrel — or let me know if you’re hunting for a particular colour. I’m always happy to help source that just-right shade.

To order a lamp shade in this fabric:

In the 1st drop down menu select the colour.

In the 2nd drop down menu select the style and shape of lampshade - all dimensions are illustrated in the photos.

Ceiling lights are best chosen from the straight sided options and most of the tapered shades are only suitable for table or floor stands and are not available for ceiling pendants.

In the 3rd drop down menu select the ring size of the shade frame. 

The options are either bayonet bulb fitting or screw bulb fitting. (See photo). Have a look at your lamp base or ceiling fitting and check if it takes a bayonet or screw fit bulb. This will guide your decision.

If in doubt, select bayonet bulb fitting as this will come with a standard flexible adaptor which can be flipped out to make the bulb holder larger which will then fit a screw bulb.   More information.
