Extraordinary Wood Table Lamp - Reclaimed Tōtara 

This is an amazing lamp that has been created from a piece of authentic tōtara wood post.

Ahead of crafting these unique lights, JB says he lets the wood talk to him but in this case even he was in awe of how a weathered and eroded hole in the timber polished into such an amazing lamp.

This is truely one of a kind and showcases artisan craft and the timeless beauty of nature.

The grain has been carefully sanded and polished with natural bees wax.

This lamp isn't just functional, it's a conversation piece that is a perfect reflection of New Zealand's rural heritage.

  • Height, with bulb 31 cm; width 22 cm; length 23 cm.

The history of the timber has been retained by leaving any surface marks, while exposing and polishing the beautiful grain.

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison bulb has a lamp life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are generally freely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your Edison lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

With black fittings, this lamp has a long lead and an in-line switch.

Delivery

We have a $9.50 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington and Greytown, Wairarapa.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
