This handcrafted table lamp is made from reclaimed jarrah timber sourced from the historic Eastbourne wharf in Wellington Harbour.

Chosen for its strength over a century ago, the timber now reveals layers of history through its grain, markings, and natural imperfections.

This piece has a rich chocolaty colour, enhanced by natural bees wax polish.

The lamp has been individually shaped and finished to highlight these details rather than erase them. The result is a distinctive lighting piece that feels grounded, honest, and enduring — perfect for your home in which you value story as much as design.

  • The dimensions of the lamp base are: height (including bulb) 30 cm; width 19 cm, length 20 cm.

Each lamp comes with its own written history. The wood has been sourced from the Eastbourne wharf in Wellington Harbour as it underwent restoration.

The LED E14 screw fit light bulb, which comes with your lamp, has a life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are widely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. It has a long lead and an in-line switch.

We recommend an LED or maximum 40W bulb.

Your unique wooden table lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

Delivery

We have a $9.50 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington and Greytown, Wairarapa.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
