Where Function Meets Art:

Imagine a door stop that's as beautiful as it is practical.

These handcrafted pieces are made from recycled wharf timber with a rich history. Each block is unique, showcasing the wood’s natural grain, texture, and the marks of time.

The timber is cleaned, sanded, and finished with natural beeswax, bringing out a warm, inviting glow. An authentic railway pandrol clip adds a modern touch, its dark colour and shape contrasting beautifully with the smooth wood.

It’s more than just a door stop; it’s a conversation starter.

  • Material: Jarrah & railway iron
  • Dimensions: H 32 cm, W 10 cm, D 19 cm
  • Weight: 4.3 kg

The timber is Australian Jarrah, a very dense and durable wood that is part of the Eucalyptus family.

Jarrah was imported and used along with other Australian hardwoods in late nineteenth century New Zealand for commercial and industrial construction.

The history of the timber has been retained by leaving any existing bolt holes and surface marks, while exposing and polishing the beautiful end grain.

Both the Jarrah and the old iron have been cleaned, sanded, and hand finished by applying a coating of natural beeswax.

Each Keep Me Post has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.
