Reclaimed wooden lamp made with ancient wharf timber

A handcrafted wooden lamp, combining the beauty of natural wood, metal rods and the elegance of gorgeous light.

The lamp consists of a wooden base crafted from reclaimed wharf timber sourced from Days Bay wharf in Wellington harbour and a smaller wooden block at the top, connected by two original nails.

On the right hand side a piece of vintage copper if on show.  

An elegant LED light bulb is visible between the two wooden sections, providing a warm glow.

Key features of the lamp include:

The lamp is constructed from reclaimed jarrah wood, upcycled and repurposed - giving it a rustic and natural aesthetic.

The design is minimalist, with clean lines and a focus on the natural beauty of the wood. The use of two original nails adds a touch of industrial style and speaks to the lamps origins as part of a working wharf in Wellington Habour. 

  • Light Source:

The E14 LED bulb contributes to the lamp's warm and inviting ambiance.

  • Handcrafted:

JB has created a stunning unique lamps, lovingly sanding ancient jarrah timber to reveal its gorgeous grain and polished with natural bees wax.

  • Size and Type:

Suitable for a living room side table, to provide gorgeous ambience or a hall, or bedside table.

This particular lamp embodies a rustic charm, fitting well with styles such as farmhouse, industrial, or contemporary decor.

The LED light bulb is designed to last approximately 1500 hours and can be changed by lifting up the wood top.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. 

The lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

With black fittings, this lamp has a long lead with an in-line switch.

Delivery

We have a $9.50 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
