A Touch of History 

This unique table lamp is crafted from reclaimed wharf timber, imported to New Zealand over a century ago.

Each piece carries the story of its past life, with eroded contours and black tar marks, marking the wood's journey.

Carefully cleaned, sanded, and polished with natural beeswax, these lamps reveal the hidden beauty within the weathered wood.

The warm glow of the included replica Edison bulb casts a soft, inviting light, perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in any room.

These lamps are a truly unique addition to any home, bringing a touch of history and character to your living space.

  • The dimensions of the lamp base are: height (including bulb) 26 cm; width 12 cm, length 20 cm.
  • Weight: 3 kg

The timber is jarrah, imported from Australia more than 100 years ago and used in industrial / rural environments where its toughness was respected.

Each lamp comes with its own written history.

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison light bulb, which comes with your lamp, has a life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are widely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. It has a long lead and an in-line switch.

We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your unique Edison table lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

Delivery

We have a $9.50 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington and Greytown, Wairarapa.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
