This unique piece celebrates New Zealand's rich rural heritage. Made from a reclaimed tōtara post, a time-honored material used for generations in farms and stations, the lamp embodies the spirit of the land.

JB has meticulously preserved the wood's natural character, including the number 8 wire  that adds a touch of history.

Each lamp is hand-sanded and polished with natural beeswax, highlighting the wood's unique grain. Topped with a warm Edison bulb, the lamp creates a soft and inviting ambiance.

Perfect for those who appreciate handcrafted pieces with a story and a connection to New Zealand's rural heritage.

The history of the timber has been retained by leaving any surface marks, while exposing and polishing the beautiful grain.

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison bulb has a lamp life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are generally freely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your Edison lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

With black fittings, this lamp has a long lead with an in-line switch.

Delivery

We have a $7 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
