Where history meets artistry, you'll find this one-of-a-kind Edison lamp.

Crafted from a salvaged tōtara fence post, it embodies the timeless beauty of nature. The original wire has been polished and retained while one smooth side has markings of a tabby cat!

The contrasting warmth of the exposed end grain adds a touch of modern polish. 

JB has meticulously preserved the wood's weathered surface, including an old knot at the back of the lamp.

This lamp isn't just functional, it's a conversation piece that blends rustic charm with edgy industrial vibes, a perfect reflection of New Zealand's dynamic heritage.

The history of the timber has been retained by leaving any surface marks, while exposing and polishing the beautiful grain.

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison bulb has a lamp life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are generally freely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your Edison lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

With black fittings, this lamp has a long lead and an in-line switch.

Delivery

We have a $9.50 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington and Greytown, Wairarapa.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
