Handcrafted in New Zealand, this Designer Table Lamp incorporates Tōtara, an iconic and highly valued tree in Maori and European cultures.

Its durability has long been utilised for carving, construction, and fencing.

This particular piece, sourced from a rural landscape, has stood the test of time and bears witness to the evolution of New Zealand's agricultural innovation.

The original No.8 wire has been carefully preserved, polished, and secured with an original staple hole.

Adding to its charm is a vintage-inspired edison bulb, emitting a warm and inviting light that can enhance any room in your home.

The history of the timber has been retained by leaving any surface marks, while exposing and polishing the beautiful grain.

The vintage E27 40W screw fit Edison bulb has a lamp life of about 1500 hours and can be easily changed for any number of similar bulbs that are generally freely available in New Zealand.

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested. We recommend a maximum 40W bulb.

Your Edison lamp has a felt pad on the base to protect any surface you choose to put it on.

With black fittings, this lamp has a long lead with an in-line switch.

Delivery

We have a $9.50 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area, and a (free) click and collect service from Plimmerton, Wellington.

Delivery charges outside of Wellington will be calculated at check-out.

Deliveries to Australia may be subject to custom regulations regarding the importation of timber and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
