A timeless pattern by New Zealand designer, Aho Creative. This is the sister version of the earthy brown Ihi Pākākā.

This print is a dark midnight blue - almost black on a super soft cream background.

Aho fabrics are organic, fairly-traded, sustainably-sourced natural fibre textiles printed with designs that speak of whakapapa and te ao Māori.

The print looks as good on a black stand as it does on a white or wooden base.

This print will suit a wide range of different lampshade sizes.

Please refer to the size charts in the photos to choose the dimensions for your lampshade.

There are two styles to choose from: 8 sizes of tapered shades and 10 sizes of straight sided or drum-style shades. They are all numbered for ease of ordering. For example 'Tapered 15'

This pattern is best suited to straight sided, drum-style shades as the birds will 'bend' and appear slightly tipsy when used on a tapered shape frame.

To order a lampshade in this fabric:

In the 1st drop down menu select the style and shape of lampshade - all dimensions are illustrated in the photos.

Ceiling lights are best chosen from the straight sided options and most of the tapered shades are only suitable for table or floor stands and are not available for ceiling pendants.

In the 2nd drop down menu select whether your lampshade is for a table lamp / floor stand, or to be hung from the ceiling. A guide can be found in the photos.

In the 3rd drop down menu select the ring size of the shade frame.

The options are either bayonet bulb fitting or screw bulb fitting. (See photo).

The light shade frame is manufactured to fit screw fit bulbs (E27 & E14) or, a converter (reducer) adaptor is added to reduce the hole so it can fit bayonet bulbs (B22). 

If in doubt, select bayonet bulb fitting as this will come with the flexible adaptor which can be flipped out to make the bulb holder larger if needed.   More information.
