To the beholder the fabric chosen for a lampshade is the key component. It provides, colour, texture - even art. A fabric lampshade is a definite enhancement to your home, especially compared to the mass produced bland light shades found in retail chains.

For the maker choosing fabric is a delight and to be honest I'm just a little bit addicted!

I can often be found surfing online fabric suppliers, adding bolts to my cart. Most of them I put back!

But there are some designer patterns that I've been circling for a while and I've finally given in.

These are slightly more expensive than my standard stock so I've decided to create a designer section on the website.

It's starting as a small selection but has potential for expansion - depending on whether I can keep my fabric addiction in check!
