This is a favourite fabric and one that I've used many times to make a variety of lampshade sizes. This one, unfortunately shows some flaws.

It is 40 cm wide and therefore needed two seams to ensure the fabric was long enough to wrap around the lampshade. The 2nd seam is almost invisible when the lamp is off, but inevitably throws a shadow when the light is lit.

This lampshade also has a messy main seam and in one or two parts of the inner ring the fabric has frayed leaving not enough to fully tuck in. (See photos) Ah... the complexities of handcrafting lampshades!

Rather than stripping it and wasting the fabric I decided to expose my flaws and offer it at a bargain price.

This lampshade fits either a bayonet B22 bulb holder OR a screw fit E27 bulb holder.

It is ONLY suitable for a table lamp. If you use it as a ceiling pendant, the birds will be upside down!

  • Each lampshade has a fire retardant inner made from white styrene.

      Delivery

      My products are carefully packed for delivery, using a majority of recycled packaging.

      There is a $7 flat fee for delivery in the Wellington area. I also offer a click and collect option from Plimmerton, Wellington.

      For other regions the delivery charge is calculated at check-out.
